Joseph Durkin, President of the Greater Pittston Chamber of Commerce, announced Friday that Jerry A. Champi will act as General Chairperson of the Autumn Breakfast Meeting.
The affair will be held on Friday, October 24, at the Gramercy Restaurant, 155 South Main St, Pittston.
Registration at 7:45 a.m. and breakfast at 8:00 a.m.
Champi is a Senior Executive Vice-President at First National Community Bank.
He joined First National Community in 1991 as a Vice President and Commercial Loan Officer, and was promoted to Senior Vice President in May of 1993.
He now serves as Retail/Commercial Sales Division Manager.
Champi is a 1982 graduate of the Pennsylvania State University where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting.
He received his MBA in Finance and Accounting from Wilkes University in 1991.
He is a member of Holy Rosary Church, Duryea where he serves as lector
He is a lifetime member of Penn State Alumni Association; Treasurer of the Greater Pittston Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors; member of the Scranton Chapter of UNICO National.
He is also a member of the Luzerne County Community College Foundation Board of Directors.
He resides in Laflin with his wife Cathy. They are parents of twins Andrew and Anthony and triplets Christopher, Craig and Caroline.
Invitations are in the mail to all members and friends of the Chamber, and the breakfast is open to the general public.
