Mrs. and Mrs. Robert A. Wickizer Sr., Duryea, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on July 5, 2008. They were married on July 5, 1958 at the Brick United Methodist Church by the late Rev. Ruth L. Underwood. Their attendants were Paul Vogel and Shirley Klimek.
Mrs. Wickizer is the former Joan M. Coyne, daughter of the late Mrs. and Mrs. Joseph R. Coyne Sr. of Pittston. Mr. Wickizer is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Russell Wickizer of Duryea.
The couple was blessed with three children, Captain Carey with the US Army Reserve in Richmond Virginia, Kelly and Jerry Korea, Duryea, and Master Sgt Robert Jr. US Air Force and Stephanie in Las Vegas. They were also blessed with three grandchildren, Marissa and Mark Korea, Duryea and Sophia, Las Vegas.
A trip to Las Vegas marked the occasion.
