The Paul Harris Fellow Award, the most prestigious award of Rotary International, has been presented by the Wyoming Rotary to Joline and Frank Sobeck, of Trucksville.
Joline’s award consists of a medallion, lapel pin and certificate “ in appreciation of tangible and significant assistance given for the furtherance of better understanding and friendly relations between the peoples of the world.” It was given to her for past and present service to her husband’s Rotary club.
Frank’s Paul Harris award is his second and consists of a pin with additional stones, corresponding to the recipients recognition amount level, “The Paul Harris Fellow Award.” It is given to him for his 27 years as a dedicated and active member.
The Wyoming Rotary Club, in making the awards, donated $1,000 to the Rotary Foundation for each award. The money is used to fund international and district projects.
