Three local residents and students at King’s College are studying abroad during the summer.

John Bubul of West Pittston will participate in a faculty-led program through the University of Iowa, titled “London Performance Study,” which provides students with an intensive introduction to theatre in England.

A senior majoring in theatre, Bubul is a member of the King’s Players, the student theatre group. He is the son of Tom and Anita Bubul.

Yatesville residents Christina and Francesca Varvaglione will study at John Cabot University in Rome. Christina is majoring in international business and Francesca is majoring in marketing. The twin daughters of Frank and Antoinette Varvaglione are both juniors at King’s.
