The Wyoming United Methodist Church will hold a chicken barbecue from 4-6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 24 at the church, 376 Wyoming Ave, Wyoming.
Adults will be $9 with children ages 5-12 $5.
You can either take out or drive through. There will also be a picnic style eat in.

LIBRARY EVENT
Come to the Wyoming Free Library, 358 Wyoming Ave., for a great free program, “Healthy School Lunch Makeover,” from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 20.
Learn about MyPlate and food groups, the components of a healthy lunch, along with new fun lunch and snack ideas.
Parents and children are invited. Healthy snacks and lunch items will be provided. A limited amount of spaces are available.

GIRLS SCOUTS
Girl Scout Meetings are held on the first and third Monday of the month at the Wyoming Borough Building. There is currently a Daisy Troop for grades K-1 and a Brownie Troop for grades 2-3.
The Girl Scouts are looking to extend a Junior Troop for grades 4-5 with enough interest.
