The Exeter Borough Hose Company No. 1 will hold a Car and Bike Show from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Aug. 31 at the hose company, 1405 Susquehanna Ave. You can pre-register by mail. Riders are $15 and passengers are $10. You can also register from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the hose company. More information: 602-0739.

The Lady Birds Bowling League will begin the 2013-14 season on Wednesday, Sept. 4 at Modern Lanes in Exeter. Bowlers please report at 6 p.m. since bowling starts promptly at 6:15.
