St. Maria Goretti Church in Laflin held its Bible Camp July 8-12. The theme this year was Christmas in July and lesson was taught each day of the week. Participants enjoyed games, crafts and music. The camp was attended by 90 children, both campers and helpers, and each day they took up a can collection which will be given to the St. John the Evangelist Food Pantry in Pittston. A total of 426 cans and food items were collected during camp.
