Sam and Josie Mantione, of West Pittston, are observing their 40th wedding anniversary today, July 7. They were married at St. Rocco’s Church by the Rev. Julio Serra.
Matron of honor was Roseann Bonchonsky and best man was Tom Bonchonsky.
Mrs. Mantione is the former Josie Bellanco, daughter of Frances Bellanco and the late James Bellanco. Mr. Mantione is the son of the late Theresa and Charles Mantione.
The couple was blessed with two daughters, Chrissy Campenni, son-in-law Tommy Campenni and daughter Lisa Reynolds, son-in-law Luke Reynolds. They have four grandchildren, Samara, Lucia and Ella Campenni and Jackson Reynolds.
They celebrated by renewing their wedding vows on the beach with their family on a vacation trip to Newport Rhode Island.
