Borough Council thanks the Hughestown Police Department and Lions Club for the successful Easter egg hunt. Three bicycles donated by the Police Department and Lions Clubs were given away.
Other events planned for the borough include a softball torunament on April 20 and 21 at Robert Yaple Memorial Park and the girls softball League opening day on May 4.
In other business, an electronic recyclables collection is set for June 14 at the borough building. Information will be forthcoming on new recycle bins due to a change in tcarrier. Residents are asked to call 654-2061 to report complaints regarding borough properties.
