Holy Rosary School congratulates Lisa Casey, Ertley Kia June teacher of the month. Casey was nominated by Julie Mazaleski, of Duryea, a student from the 2012-2013 school year.
Each month, Ertley Kia recognizes the importance of education in the state of Pennsylvania by teaming up with other local community businesses to honor a Teacher of the Month who has made a special impact in their school/community. Nominations come from students and each winning teacher was chosen by the program committee.
Casey received recognition from Ertley Kia with the use of a brand new Kia vehicle for a month. In addition to a brand new vehicle, the Cross Valley Federal Credit union provided a $150 Visa gift card to use for gas and Chili’s Restaurant catered a special dinner for Casey. Ertley Kia created a news vignette about Casey and Mazaleski and provided a permanent award that was presented to Holy Rosary School on behalf of Casey.
