Jallen, 17, of Harding, is currently a member of the USA Paralympic Ski Team where she has been consistently ranked in the top 10 in the world for the past two ski seasons.

In March 2014, Jallen will realize her goal of reaching the Paralympic Games in Sochi, Russia. Proceeds of the car show and scavenger hunt will go towards her training, travel and equipment.

Jallen was born with a rare birth defect called CHILD Syndrome (congenital hemi-dysplasia with ichthyosiform erythroderma and limb defects). Hemi-dysplasia means it only affects half of her body with Ichthyosis, which is a severe skin disorder. Her left side never fully developed, leaving her arm very short and tapered down to one digit. Her leg also had to be amputated when she was an infant.
