Bob Linskey announces his candidacy for the position of Jenkins Township Supervisor. Bob is the son of Jean (Durling) Linskey and the late Bob Linskey Sr. of Pittston.

Bob and his wife Virginia live in the Inkerman section of the Township. They are the parents of two adult daughters. Melissa will graduate from Temple Medical School in May and begin her surgical residency at Penn State/Hershey Medical Center. Jessica is completing her Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction English at King’s College and is an English teacher at Holy Redeemer High School.

Bob has spent the last 30 plus years working in the accounting field. He is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and will graduate in 2014 from Misericordia University with a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA).

Bob is an experienced public servant, serving on the Board of Education of the Pittston Area School District since 2005.

If elected, Bob plans to work for equitable relationships with business and industry in the Township. He would like to see a cleaner environment for current and future residents of the Township. As he has done for years at Pittston Area, Bob will work to keep taxes low. Working with local, State and Federal governments, Bob will work to obtain grant money to benefit the residents of Jenkins Township.
