The Wyoming United Methodist Church will hold a chicken barbecue from 4-6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 24 at the church, 376 Wyoming Ave, Wyoming. Adults will be $9 with children ages 5-12 $5. You can either take out or drive through. There will also be a picnic style eat in. More information: 693-2821.
GIRLS SCOUTS
Girl Scout Meetings are held on the first and third Monday of the month at the Wyoming Borough Building. There is currently a Daisy Troop for grades K-1 and a Brownie Troop for grades 2-3. The Girl Scouts are looking to extend a Junior Troop for grades 4-5 with enough interest.
