John and Ann Marie Lizak of Dupont will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Feb. 22.
They were married on Feb. 22, 1966 in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Dupont, by Rev. Chester Kolakowski. The maid of honor was Patricia Pliss, Moosic, and best man was the late Paul Appel, Wilkes-Barre.
Mrs. Lizak is the former Ann Marie Wesolowski, daughter of the late Walter and Agnes Wesolowski, Dupont. Mr. Lizak is the son of the late John and Suzanna Lizak, Dupont.
The couple are the parents of four children: Dr. Richard Lizak, wife Ann, Schnecksville; Kimberly Ann Rianldi, husband Joe, Broomall; Shelly Ann Scarantino, husband, Carl, Pittston; and John R. Lizak, wife Amber, Lititz. They have eight grandchildren: Ethan, Jacob, and Adam Lizak; Jessica and Jason Rinaldi; Jamie and Ashley Scarantino; and Mackenzie Lizak.
The couple celebrated with a family dinner at Rustic Kitchen and cruise to Alaska planned for July.
