Bring a friend to Galli’s School of Self Defense

October 19th, 2015 11:35 am

Master Leonard Galli, founder and senior lead instructor at Galli’s Fighting Chance School of Self Defense, 54 Tunkhannock Avenue in Exeter, is encouraging his students to bring a friend to class from 6 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 20, and learn more about the benefits of martial arts and self-defense training.

Master Galli is inviting the school’s junior (children’s) division students to bring a friend to class that night to experience and gain exposure to valuable life skills.

While the “Bring a Friend Night” initiative is intended to bolster the school’s growing roster, Master Galli said he’s also using the event as an educational tool to bring awareness to the benefits of martial arts training for children and parents.

Galli’s children’s junior division is designed for children 6 to 12 years old. The school’s junior division white, orange, and green belt rank-holders train from 6 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday nights and from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday mornings. The green belt division for children with one stripe rank-holders and up meet from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
