The 127th Cynonfardd Eisteddfod to be held

The 127th Cynonfardd” Eisteddfod will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, April 23, at the Dr. Edwards Memorial Congregational Church, Church and Main streets in Edwardsville. The afternoon session for children to compete in song, poetry and piano is for children in categories under the age of 5 through the age of 18. For a nominal fee a church supper will be served from 4:30 to 5 p.m. A mini Gymanfa Ganu will be held at 6:30 p.m. followed by the evening session for adult competition. Vocal solos, recitations, duets, quartets (including barbershop) and choral competition will be held. Prize bags will be awarded to the winners of each competition.
