Gabriel Keezer, an eight- year old second- grader at the Wyoming Area Primary Center, has a dream to collect 3,000- pounds of non-perishable food and toiletries over the summer and has enlisted the Wyoming Area Kiwanis Club to assist. He will be collecting until July 29, with a celebration on Aug. 4. Drop-offs will be at the Deco Lounge, Wyoming Ave.; the Exeter Boy Scout Home; or volunteers from Scouts, Key Club and Builders Clubs at Wyoming Area and Wyoming Area Catholic will pick up donations from porches during a community canvas. Donations will be given to Gabriel House, Ruth’s Place, the Care and Concern Clinic and the Greater Pittston Food Pantry/Harry Weinberg Food Bank.
