PITTSTON — The weekly Pittston City Farmers Market invited children to take part in the activities on Tuesday, July 28.

Children were given the opportunity to sing with Jenn Johnson, have their faces painted and receive balloon animals. The children were also given the chance to plant mint.

Farm fresh produce and other goods are now available weekly to residents from Greater Pittston and beyond. The market is held at the Lower Tomato Festival Lot from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Tuesday and runs through the last Tuesday before Thanksgiving.
