Hughestown man wins hot dog eating contest for third year

DUPONT — Hot diggity dog!

The Ninth Annual Dupont Softball Tournament was held from Friday, July 24 to Sunday, July 26 at the Dupont Little League Field on Elm Street.

As part of the event, the Third Annual Hot Dog Eating Contest was held on the field on July 25. Two-time defending champion Geoff Baumes of Hughestown finished his fifth hot dog in about two minutes to win for the third time.
