PITTSTON — St. Michael’s Byzantine Catholic Church held its 19th annual flea market and ziti dinner on Saturday, Aug. 1 and Sunday, Aug. 2 at the church on North Main Street. People lined up at the entrance of the church Saturday morning, awaiting for the doors to open to peruse the tables filled with second-hand items. The church also sold piggies, pierogies and other ethnic foods during the event. A bake sale was also held. The proceeds will go towards the church’s 100th anniversary celebration in November.
