Traffic report for Sept. 17

Morning commuters traveling on Interstate 81 North will find moderate congestion near the Pittston/Dupont exit 175. The off ramp, as well as Route 315 at Oak Street is heavily congested.

Other than that, traffic is moving free with little to no congestion on Interstate 81 and 476, as well as Route 315.

The South Cross Valley Expressway is free of congestion with the exception of the south-bound lanes near the Nanticoke exit.

The North Cross Valley Expressway is also free of congestion. Some congestion could be encountered on the off-ramps.

North River Street in Wilkes-Barre is experiencing patches of minor and heavy congestion while North Main Street and the South Wilkes-Barre Boulevard are also experiencing patches of minor and heavy congestion.

Commuters traveling on Wyoming Avenue will experience moderate to heavy traffic at times between Kingston and Exeter.
