Clouds and rain to make way for clear skies this afternoon

Cloudy skies with minor rain in the morning will give way to sunny skies and comfortable temperatures in the afternoon.

The National Weather Service reported with at 53 degrees at the the Scranton/Wilkes-Bare International Airport this morning.

Scattered showers in the morning will become mostly sunny with a high of 71 degrees this afternoon with a clear sky tonight and a low of 50 degrees.

Wednesday will see areas of fog in the morning, but sunny skies and a high of 76 degrees will take over the afternoon with a clear night and a low of 52 degrees.

A high of 77 degrees and sun can be expected for Thursday with a partly cloudy night and a low of 54 degrees Thursday night.
