Matthew Bartoli, of Mundy Court, Exeter, is aspiring for a 4-year term on the Wyoming Area School Board. He will run as an independent candidate.
Bartoli is an alumni of Wyoming Area, Star Technical Institute and Bucks County Community College.
He is married to the former Susan Jester, of Exeter, and they are the proud parents of two children, Patrick and Abigail, who attend Wyoming Area.
Bartoli has volunteered for community and church services nearly all his life. He was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church where he served as an altar boy, lector, and volunteered for parish bazaars and church custodial work. He received the Diocese of Scranton Award for Catholic Youth of the Diocese.
He coached for the Exeter Little League and Exeter Panthers. He is a life member of Exeter Hose Co. No. 1 and held the positions of assistant fire chief as well as two terms as president and several terms as vice president. He is currently a member of the West Pittston Hose Co.
