Nick DeAngelo, a former member of the Wyoming Area School Board for eight years, announces his candidacy for another four-year term.

DeAngelo and his wife, the former Lisa Tochery, are lifelong residents and graduates of Wyoming Area School District. They are the parents of three children, all graduates of Wyoming Area: Daniella, Elena and Julianna.

DeAngelo was born and raised in Exeter and lived there for 36 years. For the last 19 years the family’s home has been in Wyoming.

DeAngelo is a member of St. Barbara’s Church in Exeter (formally St. Anthony’s Church) and a member of the Holy Name Society. He is a lifetime member of the Exeter Fire and Rescue Hose Company No. 1. He is a past coach for the Exeter Panthers Football C team and assisted in coaching in the Wyoming-West Wyoming Little League. He is a member of the Exeter Lions Club currently serving on its executive board.

DeAngelo is the son of Catherine Vasil DeAngelo and the late Nicholas John DeAngelo.

DeAngelo served as president of the Wyoming Area School Board for two years. DeAngelo also served as board treasurer and vice president. He also served a one-year term on the West Side Vocational Technical Joint Committee Board.

DeAngelo has been employed for 39 years in retail sale, 31 of which have been in managerial positions. For the last two years he has employed at Wyoming Valley Sanitary Authority as a coordinator in the purchasing and inventory department.
