Grandparents’ Mass

Grandparents’ Mass for students in grades 4-8 will be held at 9 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 16. The celebrant for the liturgy will be Fr. Michael Finn, pastor of St. Barbara’s Church, Exeter.

Little Sisters of the Poor

The Little Sisters of the Poor are again asking for help this holiday season by asking for donations for Holy Family Residents in Scranton Items that are desperately needed are as follows:

• Kleenex and lotions

• Body wash and Efferdent

• Toothpaste, toothbrushes and mouthwash

• Any type of canned fruits, vegetables, soups

• Unsweetened cereals, coffee, peanut butter.

Sisters will accept any monetary donations as well as gift cards in varied amounts to local merchants such as Price Chopper, Walmart, CVS, etc. A presentation will be made to the Sisters at our Thanksgiving Liturgy on Wednesday, Nov. 25.

Student Council project

Student Council is sponsoring a Winter Accessories Service Project to benefit Greater Pittston Kids Closet. Students will be collecting new gloves, mittens, hats, scarves and socks in sizes infant through child size 16 for both boys and girls. Items will be collected from Friday, Nov. 6 through Friday, Nov. 20.

Homeroom assignments are:

Pre-K and Kindergarten — Socks

Grades 1 and 2 — Mittens

Grades 3 and 4 — Gloves

Grades 5 and 6 — Scarves

Grades 7 and 8 — Hats
