Rain and snow are both about to share the spotlight within the upcoming days in the Wyoming Valley.
The National Weather Service reported it was 47 degrees at 6:54 a.m. at the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre International Airport.
Today will see rain, and possibly a thunderstorm after 2 p.m., with a high of 54 degrees while tonight skies will clear up a bit and temperatures will drop significantly to a low of 20 degrees.
Mostly sunny skies and a high of 23 degrees are in store for Monday with temperatures dropping down to 18 degrees at night.
Tuesday is calling for a 70 percent chance of light snow after 1 p.,m. with a high of 32 degrees with temperatures expecting to drop to 17 degrees in the evening.
