PITTSTON — Pastor Rev. Carlos Esquivel, O.S.J. and the Holy Name Society of St. Joseph Marello Parish will hold their annual Smoker at 6 p.m. on Sunday, March 13, at the parish’s Mt. Carmel Center, William Street.

This event is for men, young and old, from the parish and surrounding area. This affair hosts a dinner and featured guest speaker, while attendees enjoy the company of old friends and new acquaintances.

The guest speaker this year is the Bishop of the Scranton Diocese, the most Reverend Joseph C. Bambera, D.D., J.C.L. The toastmaster will be Pittston resident Ed Ackerman. Entertainment will be supplied by Danny Argo and Frankie G (Frank Galoardi).

Tickets can be obtained at the church rectory, from all Holy Name members, or by calling Jim Murphy at 570-654-4929.
