AVOCA — A new billing system will be put into place for annual refuse fees. All residents will receive an invoice in the mail, from which they can pay their annual fee. Garbage stickers will not be needed to be put in windows.
2016 refuse fees are as follows:
Now through March 20 — $165 per unit (base period)
March 21 through April 20 — $175 per unit (fee with penalty)

May 21 through June 21 — $195 per unit (fee with penalty)
Make checks payable to Avoca Borough and mail payments to Therese Wrubel, 129 Factory St., Avoca PA 18641.
Residents may make payments at the Avoca Municipal Building during Therese Wrubel’s office hours of 5 to 6 p.m. Mondays and 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesdays.
