DURYEA — Students from Holy Rosary School in Duryea recently competed in the National History Day Regional Competition at Misericordia University.

Entries included historical performances, exhibits, and documentaries.

A first place award was presented to Kenny Francis, Louis Galli, Evan Gedrich, Mark Ranieli and Zac Sulima for their historical performance of the SS St. Louis. These students will be participating in the state competition at Millersville University in May.
