Students from Wyoming Area Catholic School in Exeter earn awards for Earth Day projects

Students in second and sixth grade at Wyoming Area Catholic School in Exeter were invited to participate in an Earth Day Coloring and Craft Project sponsored by the Wyoming Valley Sanitary Authority. Second grade student Aaron Glaser, pictured left, won first place for coloring the scenic picture entitled ‘Our Susquehanna River,’ Pennsylvania’s River of the Year and sixth grade student Maya Kasa won first place for her craft project of a river scene using materials that are recycled daily. Both students were presented a Barnes and Noble gift card from representatives of the Wyoming Valley Sewer Authority. photo
