West Pittston Cherry Blossom Festival entertainment schedule for April 30 and May 1

WEST PITTSTON — The West Pittston Cherry Blossom Festival will be held Saturday, April 30 and Sunday, May 1 on Susquehanna Avenue.

The entertainment schedule for both days is as follows:

Saturday, April 30

Noon — Parade and Flaxy Morgan playing on festival grounds

1 p.m. — Introduction by Ralph Salerno, President of West Pittston Cherry Blossom Festival Committee; remarks from parade Grand Marshal Rosalie Messina; playing of the “Star Spangled Banner;” invocation; announcing of the festival scholarship winner.

1:15 p.m. — Little Miss Cherry Blossom Contest

2:30 p.m. — Pittston David Blight School of Dance

3:15 p.m. — Emerald Isle Step Dancers

3:45 p.m. — Magic by Joe Hussey

4:15 p.m. — Perfect Harmony School of Music/Beth Connor

5:15 p.m. — After Hours

Sunday, May 1

Noon — Invocation; performance of scenes from “Grease” by the Wyoming Area Drama Club

12:30 p.m. — West Pittston Cherry Blossom’s Got Talent

1:30 p.m. — Dance Theatre of Wilkes-Barre

2:15 p.m. — Perfect Harmony School of Music/Beth Connor

3 p.m. — Dynamic Duo with special guest “Bianca”

4 p.m. — The Irrefutables

5 p.m. — Festival closing
