EXETER — The Wyoming Area Quilting Club will host its annual Quilt Show from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 25 in the secondary center gymnasium.
During the show, there will be around 50 quilts, with some in progress, baked goods and crafts for sale, raffle baskets, and a charity quilt will be raffled off. All proceeds will go toward non-profit charities within the community. Charity names will be on display during the event.
Admission is free and beverages will be provided. All of the quilts have been made by Wyoming Area seniors, most of which are in the Wyoming Area Quilting Club.
The Quilting Club was originally founded by Family and Consumer Science Teacher Antoinette Jones, who is on maternity leave this year. Long-term substitute Alexandria Briggs is this year’s Quilting Club advisor.
