The Pittston Area Primary Center’s Averie Klush, first grade, and Cara Welby, kindergarten, were named winners of the AMVETS Post No. 189 Americanism Contest, which is offered for teaching students in grades kindergarten through 12th grade about American heritage, civics and citizenship.
