PITTSTON — The Italian-American Association of Luzerne County held a wreath-laying ceremony at the Christopher Columbus statue following Mass at St. Joseph Marello Parish on Sunday, Oct. 9.

The group also held a raising of the Italian flag at the Luzerne County Courthouse on Friday, Oct. 7 and its annual Columbus Day banquet at Genetti’s in Wilkes-Barre on Sunday, Oct. 9.
