WYOMING — At exactly noon on May 28, 1960, fireworks exploded, church bells rang, fire trucks, ambulance and police cars came out with sirens blaring, announcing the start of the 75th Wyoming Borough Diamond Jubilee. There was a different parade each of the five days, and a closing ceremony was held at the Wyoming Monument on Sunday afternoon. John Rygiel, general chairman, filmed the week-long celebration and donated DVDs to the Wyoming Free Library.
