FORTY FORT — There will be an electronic recycling event from 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 2 at Luzerne County Soccer Fields hosted by the West Side Council Of Governments.
Cost to pre-register is $25 per car. All pre-registrations will occur at local borough buildings. West Wyoming residents may register at the Town Hall, 464 W. 8th St. West Wyoming has 30 car tags.
Only one TV or computer monitor will be accepted per tag. Damaged TVs or monitors will not be accepted. All other electronics authorized by Luzerne County recycling will be accepted.
Accepted items include cameras, cell phones, copiers, DVD players, fax machines, hard drives, laptops, microwaves, notebooks, PCs, printers, radios, scanners, shredders, stereos, UPS, VCRs, gaming systems (Nintendo, Xbox, Wii, Gameboy) and more.
