Local gaining experience
WILKES-BARRE — Three local residents are gaining professional experience at internships during the fall semester at Wilkes University.
Dave Graff, Pittston, a junior integrative media major, is interning at Angelstar Media LLC in Scranton. Graff is completing an internship as a multimedia designer, including web design and print mediums.
Joseph Fasciana, West Pittston, a senior psychology major, is interning at the NeuroTraining and Research Center at Wilkes University. Fasciana’s responsibilities include assisting and educating students and faculty about the services the center offers, such as audio-visual entertainment and equipment to improve relaxation and relieve stress.
Justin Topa, Avoca, a senior communication studies major, is interning at the F.M. Kirby Center in Wilkes-Barre. Topa’s duties include marketing, promotions and event planning, with a focus on community outreach.
Goldsteins welcome child
Lillian Rose Goldstein was born on Wednesday, Sept. 30 and is 17th grandchild to Rabbi and Mrs. Joshua Michael Goldstein. Her grandparents are Rabbi and Mrs. Emmanual Joseph Goldstein, California; and great-grandparents are the late Samuel and Lillian Goldstein, Duryea.
Lillian Rose is named after her great-grandmother Lillian Goldstein. Her Godmother is Deborah Goldstein, Duryea
