Quiet commute greets area residents as they make their way to school, work

It should be a quiet commute to work and school this morning midweek.

Parts of Route 11 have some minor congestion throughout the west side, including Kingston and Plymouth.

Free-flowing traffic is reported on Interstates 81 and 476. Routes 315 and 115 are also reporting free-flowing traffic.

The North Cross Valley Expressway is free of traffic congestion, but some could be encountered on the off-ramps.

Near the Wyoming Valley Mall, some areas of minor congestion could briefly slow commuters.

Downtown is relatively quiet, but with some minor congestion in areas of downtown and Wilkes-Barre Boulevard.
