The Wyoming Valley will have perfect leaf peaking weather the first half of the weekend with rain creeping into Sunday’s forecast.

Nine-mile-an-hour North winds will make Friday morning’s 45-degree temperature feel colder.

But Friday will warm up with temperatures reaching into the 50s under mostly sunny skies.

Friday night temperatures will dip down to 31 degrees.

Saturday has all the ingredients for a perfect Fall day — partly sunny and highs near 55 degrees — perfect for picking out that Halloween pumpkin.

Saturday night will be mild with temperatures near 45 degrees.

Wyoming Valley residents will want their umbrellas handy Sunday as the National Weather Service predicts cloudy skies with a 50 percent chance of rain. Highs will reach 56 degrees with a low of 36 degrees Sunday night.

Skies will clear out Monday with temperatures reaching 52 degrees.
