With the exception of Interstate 81 northbound, commuters in the Wyoming Valley can expect a mostly smooth ride to work or school this morning.

Minor ongestion is being reported on the interstate near the Pittston/Dupont Exit 175 northbound, causing delays on Route 315 and Oak Street at the exit. Travelers wishing to use alternate routes should be fine. Route 315 from Wilkes-Barre to Pittston is clear of any congestion.

The North and South Cross Valley Expressways are free of congestion, with the exception of several off-ramps. Interstate 476 is clear of congestion at this time.

Scattered areas of minor congestion are being reported in Downtown Wilkes-Barre on Wilkes-Barre Boulevard, River Street, North and South Main Street.

Highway 309 in the Back Mountain is congestion free. Wyoming Avenue between Kingston and Forty-Fort is fairly clear. However, there is congestion from road work in spots.
