Wyoming Borough police seek suspect in burglary of Angelo’s Pizza & Restaurant in Midway Shopping Center

WYOMING — Police are seeking a suspect in a burglary at Angelo’s Pizza & Restaurant in the Midway Shopping Center at about 5 a.m. Sunday.

Police commissioner Michael Flanagan said an attempt to serve a warrant on Michael Ortiz, Plains Township, at his last known address earlier in the day had been unsuccessful.

Flanagan described Ortiz as 47 years old, 5 feet 11 inches, 175 pounds with a limp.

Police allege Ortiz used a rope ladder to climb into the building, stealing about $3,200 and causing substantial damage to equipment and electronics at the business.
