Mostly free-flowing traffic for your Thursday morning

Travelers on Interstate 81 and the Pennsylvania Turnpike can expect some delays this morning.

Interstate 81 North, just before the Pittston/Dupont Exit 175, is jammed right before the split. The off ramp and the intersection of Route 315 and Oak Street are also affected.

Commuters on Interstate 476 at the Wyoming Valley Toll Plaza are also experiencing delays this morning.

Free-flowing traffic is reported on the North and South Cross Valley Expressways, as well as Memorial Highway in the Back Mountain. Several on and off ramps are experiencing minor congestion there.

Minor congestion is being reported throughout downtown Wilkes-Barre. Heavy traffic is being reported on Route 309 at the intersection of Blackman and Route 309.

Wyoming Avenue between Forty-Fort and Plymouth is also experiencing spots of minor congestion.
