First grade students at Montgomery Avenue Elementary School made holiday houses in December. The students were asked to use their creativity and make a house of any material they wished. Some examples of what the students used were wood, cardboard, Legos, sugar cubes, straws, pretzels, gingerbread and paper. Each one was uniquely and beautifully decorated. The houses were displayed outside the students’ classrooms for everyone to enjoy.
