Old Man Winter could finally bring some accumulating snow to the Wyoming Valley this week.

The National Weather Service indicated that it was 24 degrees as of 6:54 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, with a few clouds reported.

Mostly sunny skies are expected today, with a high near 23. Clouds will begin to move into the region tonight, with scattered flurries possible into early Tuesday morning. The low will be around 17.

Snow showers will be likely between noon and 5 p.m. on Tuesday, with a less than an inch of snow expected. The high will be near 32.

Scattered snow showers are predicted for Tuesday night, with less than a half an inch of snow expected. Winds could also gust as a high as 28 miles per hour. The low will be around 17.

Partly sunny skies are predicted for Wednesday, along with scattered snow showers. The high will near 23. Mostly cloudy skies are expected on Wednesday night, with a low around 13.
