The Wyoming Valley’s forecast for the weekend will feature sunny skies and warmer temperatures, and no precipitation is expected.

The National Weather Service indicated that it was 26 degrees as of 6:54 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, with overcast skies reported.

Mostly sunny skies are expected today after a chance of snow showers before 8 a.m. Today’s high will be near 29. Winds could also gust as high as 25 miles per hour.

Partly cloudy skies are predicted for tonight, with a low around 19.

Mostly sunny skies are expected on Saturday, with a high near 38. Partly cloudy skies will carry over into Saturday night, with a low around 30.

Sunday bring mostly sunny skies to round out the weekend, with a high climbing to 52. Partly cloudy skies are predicted for Sunday night, with a low around 40.
