Some scattered areas of traffic congestion are reported this morning, but commuters should have little trouble getting to work and school.
Free-flowing traffic is reported on Interstates 81 and 476. Scattered areas of congestion are reported on Routes 315 and 115, but the North Cross Valley Expressway is free of congestion.
Near the Wyoming Valley Mall, minor congestion is reported on Kidder and Mundy streets. Highland Park Boulevard is reporting areas of heavy congestion near the Wilkes-Barre Township Marketplace, while areas of minor congestion are reported on Wilkes-Barre Township Boulevard.
Downtown, areas of minor congestion are reported on Wilkes-Barre Boulevard and onto South Wilkes-Barre Boulevard. Heavy congestion is reported on Hazle Street in the area of South Pennsylvania Avenue, as well as on East Market Street near North State Street and South River Street near West South Street.
North River Street is reporting scattered areas of minor congestion.
In Kingston, scattered areas of minor and heavy traffic congestion are reported on Market Street and Wyoming Avenue throughout the borough.
