Sunny skies and warmer temperatures are expected for the rest of the week in the Wyoming Valley.

The National Weather Service indicated that it was 33 degrees as of 6:54 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, with fair skies reported.

Sunny skies are expected today, with a high near 55. Partly cloudy skies will carry over into tonight, with a low around 31.

Sunny skies are predicted for Thursday, with a high near 59. Clear skies are expected on Thursday night, with a low around 33.

Sunny skies will round out the week on Friday, with a high near 63. Friday night is also expected to bring clear skies, with a low around 36.
