The forecast in the Wyoming Valley through the midweek is shaping up to be a quiet one, with clear skies and warm temperatures expected.

The National Weather Service indicated that it was 44 degrees as of 6:54 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, with fair skies reported.

Sunny skies are expected to kick off the week today, with a high near 78. Partly cloudy skies will follow into tonight, with a low around 50.

Mostly sunny skies are expected on Tuesday, with a high near 65. Mostly clear skies will carry over into Tuesday night, with a low around 38.
