Sunshine is expected to stick around the Wyoming Valley for most of the week.

The National Weather Service indicated that it was 42 degrees as of 6:54 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, with fair skies reported.

Sunny skies are expected today, with a high near 69. Mostly clear skies will carry over into tonight, with a low around 39.

Mostly sunny skies are predicted for Tuesday, with a high near 66. Partly cloudy skies are expected into Tuesday night, with a low around 46.
