Avoca Crime Watch cleans up the borough as part of ‘Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful’ campaign

On Saturday, May 7, members of the Avoca Crime Watch took part in the annual PennDOT Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful campaign. The group cleaned up Main Street and around the ‘Welcome to Avoca’ signs for the Memorial Day holiday. The next meeting of the crime watch will be at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 21 at the borough building. Avoca Crime Watch members from left, are Ed Kearney, Gene Philbin, Pat Hannon, Jim Brogan, Butch Regan, Ned Jones and Jim Doran.
